Minissha Lamba Biography
There are many new faces introduced in Bollywood, Lamba is one such artist. She is a latest entry into filmdom. Lamba was born in Kashmir, in the year 1985. Her dad was in the hospitality business. This gave Lamba to travel around the country and meet many people. She has graduated from the Miranda House in Delhi and has a degree in English. Her long term ambition was to become a journalist. However, she pursued modeling as hobby and that turned the tide and made her an actress.
Her career began with her appearing in many commercials. Cadburys, Hajmola, Sunsilk, Airtel are some of her assignments. Director Shoojit Sircar took notice of her appearances in such commercials and offered her a role in the movie “Yahaan”. This movie gave Lamba her break and she enacted the role with a lot of grace. Lamba’s dream role happens to be that of Kate Winslet’s in the movie “Titanic”.
Her other movies include “Corporate”, “Rocky: The Rebel”, “Anthony Kaun Hai”, “Anthony Kaun Tha”, and “Honeymoon Travels”. Her upcoming movies include, “Anamika”, “Heyy Babyy”, “Dus Kahaniyaan”.

Precently Minissha Lamba is busy in shooting for three films - Anamika, kidnap and Sourya. She told to media that definitely she love to do an item number for her film if the script demands it.Industry is song and dance based and these item numbers have purely an entertainment value right now.She says,”I see no wrong if someone chooses to do an item number and I will also do it if requires.”That’s Minissha’s take, who has far acted in roles that have not demanded wearing skimpy clothes.Glimpses of her dancing skills were seen in Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, her latest film.
